Support Bunny Besties on this Giving Tuesday!
SERVING THE TWIN CITIES: Bunny Besties' Ambassador Rabbits are highly trained in Animal Assisted Interactions (AAI). That is what makes us different than other organizations. Hundreds of hours have been put into the care and training of our bunnies. It sets us apart along with more than ten years of experience working in this specialized field. In that amount of time we have served over 26,000 community members in Minnesota.
What is AAI you might ask?
"Animal-assisted interactions includes utilizing an animal to improve the lives of humans. It is a subset of Anthrozoology, the study of interactions and relationships between humans and animals. The human-animal bond helps to reduce anxiety, grief, depression, isolation and blood pressure, designating animals as benefit to humans."

In 2022 we had such incredible accomplishments. We grew Bunny Besties Young Leaders to 38 members and they are impacting the community with their volunteer work. We served 28 nursing home clients many times this past year. We moved into our new location and rebuilt our General Store which is an important revenue source to help us fund our efforts in our community.
Bunny Besties has been working to create a safe place for rabbit owners to get supplies and we even did a vaccine and wellness clinic that saw forty-five rabbits healthier because of our efforts. We recreated our website and have added a client calendar as well as a volunteer calendar to keep communications efficient. We also were chosen by the UMN Carlson School of Business for a graduate student team to help us launch our subscription boxes for bunny owners in 2023. Just to name a few!
Looking forward to 2023, we at Bunny Besties want to expand our reach. The Bunny Besties Young Leaders is thirty-eight members strong. Our leadership training for these teens will shape them to become active community members who serve others. We hope to expand our Minnetonka High School program to other high schools. We are also hoping to expand our reach with more space at our location with Animal Assisted Interactions being offered weekly. We are wanting to do more programs like our Reading to the Rabbits program again.
Our future goals for the New Year require us to fundraise so we can expand our reach. We are a small nonprofit with a big impact. We hope Giving Tuesday will be a day where our community supports us with the donations, we need to move forward into 2023 to make an even bigger community impact!
Thank you for supporting us!
