Our use of technology has been an asset in our growth. We currently use Flipcause, Network for Good, Quickbooks, Shopify online store, Shopify POS, and more. We would love to have a person who works in Information Technology and has a background with our systems.

This volunteer position would be great for all the technology professionals out there who want to use their skills for good! Our brand and mission is positive, engaging, and heartwarming – all wonderful and strong grounds for some great and fun social media campaigns and strategies! - Develop strategies for connecting our systems in a way that makes them work together in a positive way for the business.
- Help maintain systems with updates.
- Help train those who will be using the systems so they are managed correctly.
- Be available to answer questions about systems and Bunny Besties technology
Qualifications:
- Experience managing technical systems to make managing the nonprofit business more efficient.
- Experience with Shopify, Weebly and Quickbooks.
- Experience with Meta Business Suite (Facebook, Instagram)
- Strong design skills in Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud software
- Strong writing skills with adherence for brand voice.
- Collaborative and driven by working in a team
Grant Writer

As a nonprofit that is growing significantly, we are at a point requiring some support in seeking and co-writing grants that are suitable for our organization. Currently, the internal grant-writing team consists of the Executive Director, a fundraising consultant, and a Board member. We would love to seek out grants in support of our general operations, programmatic needs (specifically a vehicle for our visits with our Rabbit Ambassador team), and rabbit care.

- Research grants that meet our specific grant needs, including the foundation and grantmaker, their requirements, due dates, and application requirements.
- Support the writing of the grant by partnering with the Executive Director and Board Member(s).
- Manage timeline for grant application and keep the organization proactive in looking forward to next grant cycles.
Qualifications:
- Grant writing experience would be nice but not necessary! Key: Willingness to try out grant writing.
- Strong technical writing skills with an eye for concise language.
- Strong research skills.
- Curiosity and/or experience adapting organizational stories into grant applications.
- Experience using collaborative platforms such as Google Docs or Office 365.
Social Media Assistant

Rabbit Homecare Specialist
Summary: Rabbit care volunteers are responsible for providing basic care for the Bunny Besties sanctuary rabbits. Rabbit care volunteers feed the rabbits, clean their litter boxes and enclosures, brush the rabbits, and socialize the rabbits.
Time Commitment: One 2-hour shift per week, or more if desired.

General Store Coordinator
Summary: The General Store Coordinator is responsible for maintaining successful operation of our store, which serves as a fundraiser for the organization. The store is open Wednesday (3:30-5:30 pm) and Saturdays from 10 am to 2 pm.

General Store Specialist
Summary: General Store volunteers are responsible for the day-to-day operation of our store, which serves as a fundraiser for our organization. Duties include helping customers select items, checking customers out via the point of sale system, restocking shelves, assisting with inventory, and keeping the store neat and orderly. The store is open Wednesday (3:30-5:30 pm) and Thursday (6-8 pm), as well as Saturdays from 10 am to 2 pm.

Rabbit Homecare Coordinator
Summary: Our Bunny Besties Ambassador Rabbits are the hardest workers in our organization! We take the best care of them. We are looking for someone to be in charge of making sure they get what they need on a daily basis.
Time Commitment: At least one 2-hour shift per week, plus on-call to fill in for open shifts and train new volunteers

The Community Outreach Coordinator is responsible for the planning and execution of community outreach efforts held outside of the Bunny Besties office, such as visits to nursing homes and schools.
